How one random phrase defined my whole life
At 20, I was an ordinary guy.
But there was one “but”:
I could communicate.
I could listen.
I could make people feel comfortable.
It wasn’t a profession — just a quality…
And then one phrase changed everything: “Zhenya, you’re fascinating to listen to. I could listen to you again and again.”
That was said by the girl I was dating back then. She’s my wife now.
And at that moment, at twenty, those simple words sounded to me like a prophecy.
A bold hypothesis: what if my path is speech?
It was an idea born purely from intuition. I had never spoken anywhere except at school and kindergarten performances. I didn’t know what public speaking was. I didn’t feel strong, charismatic, or capable.
But I decided to take the leap.
I read hundreds of books. Attended dozens of trainings. Listened to hundreds of hours of the world’s best speakers.
Just six months later, I held my first training. It was raw, imperfect. I invited students just to fill the room — for free. But it was my path.
From students to business owners
I held trainings for everyone who was ready to come.
School students, university students, postgraduates. Over time — managers, then their leaders, then executives, and finally business owners.
My programs grew richer with cases, real experience, and live stories.
Politics, Television, and Speechwriting
In 2015, I found myself in politics — first as a rhetoric coach for parliamentary candidates, and later as a media consultant helping them prepare for appearances on Ukrainian, European, and American TV channels.
Two years later, I began writing speeches for politicians — over 200 speeches, more than 150 TV appearances.
I became a speechwriter.
Then — a PR consultant.
Public speeches gave way to press releases, crisis communication, and working with journalists.
Business, Big Companies, and a New Scale
Word of mouth worked. My students brought new clients. That’s how I started training employees of international companies — Amazon, Shell, Luxoft, Caterpillar, and major pharmaceutical corporations.
I trained their teams and prepared company owners for conferences. The stage and trainings remained part of my life, but took only 50% of my time. The rest was absorbed by PR.
In 2021, my students took the biggest stage in the world — Web Summit in Lisbon. There’s simply no stage greater than that.
18,000 people in the audience. A global stage. I was their coach. And I’m still proud of it.
Advisor, Director, Prestige. And… Emptiness
The 2020 elections. I was an advisor to a Member of Parliament, responsible for all his communication, speeches, and interviews.
At the same time, I received a very tempting offer — to head the PR department at one of the largest companies on the market. I accepted it. For two years, trainings almost disappeared from my life.
A team. A salary. Prestige. A coffee machine.
One day, sitting in the office, I realized: I couldn’t breathe.
The stage, the clients, the people, the challenges, the attention — all gone. I realized that without trainings, life loses its taste and meaning.
I asked myself one question. And it changed everything.
What am I willing to do for the rest of my life — PR or training?
The answer was simple: I want to teach. To help. To reveal. To inspire. To transform.
I chose not comfort, but my own path. And I started again — only now with experience, confidence, expertise, results, and a personal vision. In the next six months, I held more trainings and talks than in the previous five years.
My mission is not just to teach speaking, but to teach a new way of communicating — with the world and with yourself.
Today, my trainings are not about ‘standing up and speaking beautifully’.
They are about:
- The freedom to be yourself in communication and on stage
- Breaking free from habitual patterns of talking and convincing
- Authentic self-expression, influence, and inner connection
- The ability to build dialogue — with people, with the audience, with the world
